I found this article today and it is very interesting. Just another reason why breastmilk is nectar of the Gods!

When A, was tiny he had ingrown toenails on his big toe. They had to actually cut them to fix the problem and to get rid of infection. The doctor doing the proceedure asked me if I nursed A. I said yes and was kind of curious. The doctor told me that the doctor who trained him said that if you nurse a baby right after a painful proceedure it helps calm and comfort them. So, even though I didn't know about this research I've seen it work firsthand. Breastmilk is the nectar of the gods! Great article Veronica!
